Thunchathu Ezhuthachan is known as the father of modern malayalam language (regional language of state of Kerala,India). Memorial at Tirur is quite a good place to visit. Natural ambience with good shades and a great museum. The museum took as to a great journey through the history associate with every aspect of Kerala, varying from language,politics,arts,culture,economics etc..
The museum still hold the palm leaves which were supposed to be written by Ezhuthachan himself. Also shows the evolution of malayalam as a language.
