Malom wildlife sanctuary is a tropical rainforest, blessed with seasonal waterfalls, cool climate, the flora and fauna,  which draws a large number of travellers to this wildlife reserve. The habitat supports animals such as slender Loris, flying squirrel. Monitor lizard, flying lizard, porcupines and various other animals. The birds in the region includes peacock, Malabar hornbills, grey hornbills and snakes such as Cobra, King cobra, Pythons and various other plant life.  This wildlife sanctuary has famous tourist spots such as the Maruthom hills and Thenaruvikollu waterfalls.
