Anamudi is the part of the Eravikulam National Park, which is the highest peak (2695m) in south India. An ideal destination for travelers who likes nature trekking, camping, photography and sightseeing. Anamudi is situated in the southern region of Eravikulam National Park at the junction of Anamali hills, Cardamom hills and Palani hills. Anamudi is one the best places to see in Munnar. Anamudi and Eravikulam park is home to largest surviving population of Nilgiri Thar. The area surrounding the Anamudi peak is rich in flora and fauna. It is quite easy to spot the Elephants and Gaurs in this terrain. Anamudi is a must see destination in Munnar, Kerala.
