Located close to Alappuzha town, Kuttanad is known as the rice bowl of Kerala, is famous for its vast green paddy fields. Crisscrossed by an intricate network of inland waterways, Kuttnad offers travelers a vista into the farming heartland of Kerala. The wayside eateries are one good way to explore the local cuisine.
